Chelsea Wilhelm, RN, IBCLC, is an experienced board-certified lactation consultant serving patients at Centennial Pediatrics of Spokane in Spokane, Washington. With over 10 years of experience as a registered nurse, focusing primarily on caring for postpartum mothers and their babies in various care settings, she brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to assist in caring for and feeding your child.
Chelsea was raised in a small town in western Washington. She attended Eastern Washington University where she participated in ROTC and commissioned as an officer into the Army Nurse Corps after graduating from the Washington State University College of Nursing with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Chelsea served on active duty as a nurse at Tripler Army Medical Center in Oahu, HI for four years before separating from the military in 2018.
Chelsea has been an IBCLC for six years and was breastfeeding her daughters for four of those years. Her passion for empowering parents to be comfortable and confident in not only feeding, but in caring for and raising their children is obvious from the first interaction you will have with Chelsea.
In her off time, Chelsea loves spending time exploring the outdoors with her husband Mike and young daughters, Eleanor and Grace.
